Indian Passenger Allegedly Carrying a Live Bullet got caught at Delhi Airport

As we all know carrying arms and ammunition is an illegal activity and if caught one may end up going to jail.

The same thing has happened on Tuesday, an Amsterdam-bound Indian passenger got caught at the Delhi airport for carrying a live bullet in his tour bag.

According to the officials, the person was identified as Rajinder P and the incident took place at Indira Gandi International Airport (IGI) at about 12:40 AM. Mr. Rajinder was going through a security check and suddenly a security personnel from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) found a live bullet from his cabin luggage.

The source also added that Rajinder was handed over to the police as he was unable to produce any valid document related to the bullet and at the same time the live bullet was seized by the authority.

Rajinder was travelling to Amsterdam, but his activity suspended his travel. Carrying arms and ammunition is an illegal activity and is against the law under civil aviation rules.

As of now the passenger is with Delhi police and he is charged with various provisions of the Arms Act.
